We, that is Jean and David Cholerton, have owned Little Haven for the past 43 years where we have raised our family and are now officially retired grandparents to six.
Our home has seen goats, sheep & chickens (soon to be reinstated for our own eggs). It was a highly recommended B&B for 20 years with guests from as far as Australia. Today we have this lovely apartment.
We are both keen environmentalists, gardeners, birdwatchers, and walkers. Jean is interested in art and local history and has enjoyed twelve years as a professional guide for the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust (based at Anne Hathaway’s Cottage in Shottery). Jean is now in ` semi retirement` at home but would be delighted to help visitors with regard to our local history.
David loves working on his garden, (currently working on the vegetable garden and planting an orchard!) and is interested in steam railways. He is always happy to help out.
